IF U LOVE OUR PROPHET YOU SHOULD READ IT...

Assalamoalikum

You heard about Film "FITNA" made by Dutch (Holland). In this movie (nauzbilla) they made fun of our prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Moreover they refused to apologize because they consider it a practice of freedom and democracy. I ask you all to put your hands with other MUSLIMS and boycott the Dutch's products. 1.6 billion muslims could really slap the economy in Dutch. Please forward this message to as many muslims as you can.
I ask you as a muslim can't you spare 5 minutes in order to spread this message among MUSLIMS?

REMEMBER...
The prophet Muhammad (PBUH) might ask you one day.
"WHAT DID YOU DO WHEN THEY MADE FUN OF ME?"

Did You Ever Wonder....

?

Why does the sun lighten our hair, but darken our skin?

Why can't women put on mascara with their mouth closed?

Why doesn't glue stick to the inside of the bottle?

Why is "abbreviated" such a long word?

Why is a boxing ring square?

Why is it called lipstick if you can still move your lips?

Why is it considered necessary to nail down the lid of a coffin?

Why is it that doctors call what they do "practice"?

Why is it that rain drops but snow falls?

Why is it that to stop Windows, you have to click on "Start"?

Nike Products

Assalamu alaikum

I am one of the large numbers of Muslims who were hurt by Nike's ad which shows Muslims prostrating to a woman in one of their brand jeans. I will remind you of what the Company Nike did to Muslims when they portray the name of Allah on one of their sports shoes.

The Result was that Malaysia ,Indonesia and the Gulf states including Saudi Arabia stopped importing Nike products. If you look carefully you will find That it was after that incident that Nike began to report earnings less than expected on the Wall Street which caused their stock price to tumble.

The stock price has not Recovered yet. Check it for yourselves. I am emailing this letter to as many Muslims I Can. Thank you for reading this letter.

P.S. to all Muslim brothers and sisters who read his message, please email this letter to as many people as you can. Please donate 5 minutes of your precious time for the sake of Allah.

Some rules of life

Don't go through life so fast that......

A young and successful executive was traveling down a neighborhood street, going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He was watching for kids darting out from between parked cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something.
As his car passed, no children appeared. Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door! He slammed on the brakes and backed the Jag back to the spot where the brick had been thrown. The angry driver then jumped out of the car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up against a parked car shouting, 'What was that all about and who are you? Just what the heck are you doing? That's a new car and that brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money. Why did you do it?'

The young boy was apologetic. 'Please, mister...please, I'm sorry but I didn't know what else to do,' he pleaded. 'I threw the brick because no one else would stop...' With tears dripping down his face and off his chin, the youth pointed to a spot just around a parked car. 'It's my brother, 'he said. 'He rolled off the curb and fell out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him up.' Now sobbing, the boy asked the stunned executive, 'Would you please help me get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and he's too heavy for me.'

Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling lump in his throat. He hurriedly lifted the handicapped boy back into the wheelchair, then took out a linen handkerchief and dabbed at the fresh scrapes and cuts. A quick look told him everything was going to be okay. 'Thank you and may God bless you,' the grateful child told the stranger. Too shook up for words, the man simply watched the boy push his wheelchair-bound brother down the sidewalk toward their home. It was a long, slow walk back to the Jaguar. The damage was very noticeable, but the driver never bothered to repair the dented side door.

He kept the dent there to remind him of this message:
'Don't go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention!'

God whispers in our souls and speaks to our hearts. Sometimes when we don't have time to listen, he has to throw a brick at us. It's our choice to listen or not.

The True Furqan

The new AMERICAN Quran: a dangerous trick.

A new Quran is being distributed in Kuwait , titled 'The True Furqan'. It is being described as the ayats of the Shaytan and Al-Furqan weekly
magazine has found out that the two American printing Companies;
'Omega 2001' and 'Wine Press' are involved in the publishing of 'The True Furqan', a book which has also been titled 'The 21st Century Quran'!
It has over 366 pages and is in both the Arabic and English languages...it is being
distributed to our children in Kuwait in the private English schools! The book contains 77 Surats,
which include Al-Fatiha, Al-Jana and Al-Injil. Instead of Bismillah, each Surat begins with a longer vesion of this incorporating the Christian belief of the three spirits.

And this so called Quran opposes many Islamic beliefs. in one of its ayats it describes having more than one wife as fornication, divorce being non-permissible and it uses a new system for the sharing out of the will, opposing the current one. It states that Jihad is HARAAM.

This book even goes as far as attacking Allah, Subhanahu wa Tahala!

All this is poisoning our children at approx. price of US $3.

Brothers and Sisters, it is up to you whether you all want to forward this message or not!

Five lessons from thirty years experienced software engineer (Bill Gates)

It is impossible to deny the impact he has made on the spread of computer technology across the planet during the past three decades. Look back at five of the most important lessons we've learned from the meteoric, tumultuous, and lucrative career of the world's most famous software engineer.

Yes its Bill Gates,

5. Geeks can be businessmen, too

Before Bill Gates, computer programmers were mostly considered to be a necessary evil for businesses. They were stereotyped as misanthropic weirdos that you stick in dark corners in the back office. However, Gates, became the most successful businessman on earth — if you judge business success by profits — and almost single-handedly transformed the term "geek" from an insult to a badge of honor in the process.

4. You don't have to be first to win

Gates and Microsoft rarely got to the party first with new technologies and innovations, but they were simply better at bringing technology products to the masses than anyone else in the industry. Internet Explorer is the most famous example, but Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel are also great examples. Microsoft was merely better at executing. It didn't hurt that Microsoft often had the most resources, but Gates and Co. showed over and over again that they knew how to best take advantage of those resources.

3. Computing will spread everywhere

In the 1980s when the computer was still mostly a novelty, Gates expressed his vision that there would one day be "a computer on every desk and in every home." That vision has nearly become a reality in the U.S. and it's in the process of coming to fruition across the globe. Plus, Gates' vision of the computing experience has continued to inspire the industry in general as well as Microsoft's product plans — from the smartphone to the Tablet PC to speech recognition to the touch-based interface.

2. Arrogance breeds failure

In the movie Pirates of Silicon Valley, he Bill Gates character says to Steve Ballmer, "Success is a menace. It fools smart people into thinking that they can't lose." He was referring to IBM and the fact that it let Microsoft sneak in and steal the thunder in the launch of the PC. A decade later, Microsoft's own success and arrogance led to its anti-trust defeat to the U.S. government. But Microsoft also remained humble and paranoid enough to always be on the lookout for the next small company that might do to it what it had done to IBM. Some of the most popular targets in its cross hairs: Apple, Netscape, Linux, and Google.

1. Software matters

The one message that Bill Gates spent his career reiterating was that software matters. Gates and Microsoft always believed in the magic of software to create amazing digital experiences. When "Micros-Soft" (as it was originally known) first launched in the 1970s, the computer business was all about the hardware. It was Gates and his vision of what people could do with computers that moved software to the center of the computing experience.

Softdrink Awareness

Attention how Coke and Pepsi are Helpful

To clean a toilet:
Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl.after 1 hour flush clean. The citric acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous china.

To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers:
Rub the bumper with a crumpled-up piece of Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola

To clean corrosion from car battery terminals :
Pour a can of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion

To loosen a rusted bolt :
Apply a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola to the rusted bolt for sometime

To remove grease from clothes :
Pour a can of Coke into a load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular cycle. The Coca-Cola/Pepsi will help loosen grease stains

It will also clean road haze from car windshield.

WE DRINK THIS STUFF!
OFF COURSE TO CLEAN OUR SYSTEM TOO. AFTER ALL WE ARE PAYING FOR IT.

ISN'T IT

For your information

The average pH of soft drinks, e.g. Coke & Pepsi is 3.4. This acidity is strong enough to dissolve teeth and bones! Our human body stops building bones at around the age of 30. After that it shall be dissolving the bones every year through the urine depending on the acidity of the food intake. All the dissolved calcium compounds get accumulated in the arteries, veins, skin, tissue and organs, which affects the functioning of the kidney assisting in formation of kidney stones.

Soft drinks do not have any nutritional value (in terms of vitamins and minerals). They have higher sugar content, higher acidity, and more additives such as preservatives and colorings. Some people like to take cold soft drinks after each meal, guess what's the impact?

The Impact?

Our body has an optimum temperature of 370 for the functioning of digestive enzymes. The temperature of cold soft drinks is much less than 37, sometimes quite close to 0 This lowers the effectiveness of the enzymes and puts stress on our digestive system, digesting less food. In fact the food gets fermented. The fermented food produces bad smelling, gases, decays and forms toxins, which are absorbed in the intestines, get circulated in the blood and is delivered to the whole body. This spread of toxins can lead to the development of various diseases.

Imagine
what the drink must be doing to your soft intestines and stomach lining!

Forward this message to your friends to increase the awareness of these soft drinks.

Breaking News

The pair of shoes which was thrown at Mr. Bush in Iraq has links to Pakistan .

* When voices are raised in the mosque;
* When the leader of a people is the worst of them; when people treat a man with respect because what he may do;
* When much wine is drunk; red wind or the earth swallow them, or to be transformed into animals.'
* 'IMRAN IBN HUSAYN SAID: 'THE PROPHET (AS) SAID, 'SOME PEOPLE OF THIS UMMAH WILL BE SWALLOWED BY THE EARTH, TRANSFORMED INTO ANIMALS, AND SOME WILL BE BOMBARDED WITH STONES'. ONE OF THE MUSLIMS ASKED, WHEN WILL THAT BE O MESSENGER Of ALLAH?' HE SAID, 'WHEN SINGERS AND MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS WILL BECOME POPULAR, AND MUCH
WINE IS DRUNK.'' THE GREATER SIGNS OF THE HOUR The Quran will disappear in one night, even from the people's hearts, and no Ayah will be left on earth. (Some groups of old people will be left who will say: 'We heard of fathers' saying 'LAILLAHA ILLA ALLAH' so we repeat it);

Game Day....!!

Practice makes a difference.

I've learned that whether we are talking about success in business, sports, tennis, music or any area of expertise,
practice and preparation means everything.

However, in the era of instant gratification and entertainment television, it’s easy to lose sight of what true success requires. After all what most of us see is a successful person performing their craft. We see the concert, the movie, the computer program, the presentation, the play, the miracle surgery, the Olympic event. We see the end result. We see "Game Day." But we don't see the countless hours of sweat and toil and dedication and practice that are the mark of greatness.

Tiger Woods practiced thousands of puts before hitting the one to win the US Open. Rafael Nadal hit thousands of backhands before winning Wimbledon. Josh Groban sang for thousands of hours before reaching stardom. iPod designers spent thousands of hours to create a revolutionary product. The Symphony practiced thousands of hours to create music that brought the audience to tears. The sales team spent numerous hours preparing for the important meeting that landed their biggest client.

I believe that 10 percent of our life is made up of significant Game Day moments and 90 percent is made up of the time we are preparing, practicing and waiting for those moments. How we practice and prepare with 90 percent of our time determines how we perform on Game Day and how we do on Game Day determines the level of our success.

Just as the Olympian must train for years for one defining race we must wake up each day and practice, prepare and train to be the best we can be so that on Game Day we'll be ready. Let us not settle for mediocrity but strive each day for excellence. It requires hard work, preparation and hours of effort but it’s worth it.

How are you preparing for Game Day?

A reality of World

Once someone asked Molana Room (rehmat Allah Aleh) about the reality of this life

He replied

This world is like as

A man goes to forest, he realizes that a lion is following him, He runs and runs, when he tires, he views a hole, he want to jump in that hole in order to escape his life but there is a dragon in that hole. Meanwhile he holds a branch and climbs up the tree there he examines two rates, one white and one black, are cutting the roots of the tree, slowly and constantly.

He gets much worried that the tree would be down in some time and I would be fall to lion and dragon.

Suddenly he looks a hive full of honey, he gets so busy to eat & gain honey that, totally forgets the fear of lion, rat and dragon.

Meanwhile the root of tree was cut & he fells to lion who threw him into hole where dragon swallowed him.

Hazrat Room RA explained that
Jungle is this world,
Lion is death who is behind man,
Hole is grave who is in front,
& dragon represents evil deeds that would punish in grave,
Rats are day and night that are reducing the life every day,
Tree is life and Hive of honey is worldly attractions which makes man’s eyes close of death & hereafter matters & death snatches at once,
at its fixed time.

Enhance............Your Luck

"Do you feel lucky?" It’s not just one of my favorite Clint Eastwood quotes; it’s also an important question each one of us should ask ourselves. Turns out luck, like much in life, has a lot to do with our beliefs and the energy and attitude we project. The luckier we feel and believe we are, the luckier we are.

A great article in Men’s Health Magazine by Matthew Teague, which features the latest research from British psychologist Richard Wiseman, author of the Luck Factor , explains that there is a lot more to luck than coincidence or chance. In fact, there are reasons why some people are luckier than others and there are ways each one of us can enhance our luck - right now - today.

So before you play Lotto or walk into your big sales meeting read these tips, based on Wiseman’s research, to enhance your luck.

1. Make the Most of Random Opportunities - Strike up conversations with strangers. Be open to meeting new people. Ask people where they are from. When you are on an airplane or bus, talk to the people next to you. I often do this and it’s amazing how many wonderful relationships that have developed as a result. I met my wife as she was walking by my restaurant 14 years ago. I took a chance by saying hello and it was the best decision I ever made. Pay attention, be aware and open to new possibilities.

2. Act on Lucky Hunches - Trust your gut and your heart. Never ignore your intuition. We all have heard stories of people who avoided an accident or a dangerous situation because of a gut feeling. Lucky people also use their gut to make business decisions, purchase a home, pick a husband or spouse and choose a school. Unlucky people ignore their gut. Lucky people follow it. Trusting your gut is trusting in God's voice that whispers in your ear.

3. Expect Good Fortune - Lucky people expect positive results and so that is what they get. It boils down to the power of belief. So much of luck and success is believing that good things are going to happen. What we put our attention on starts to show up more in our life. Lucky people expect that great things will happen when they talk to a stranger. They expect to find a quarter on the ground. They expect to find a parking space. They expect their clients to say “Yes.” They expect tomorrow to be even better than today. And by expecting success lucky people attract more of it.

4. Turn Bad Luck into Good - Lucky people turn misfortune into fortune. They believe that everything happens for a reason and expect good things to come out of their negative experiences. They turn obstacles and adversities into growth and learning opportunities and use bad luck to make positive changes. Lucky people experience hardships and adversity like everyone else but they turn dead ends into detours and bad experiences into good outcomes.

Do you believe in luck? What does luck mean to you?
?

You can't learn !!

After all these years,
I am still involved in the process of self discovery.
Its better to explore life and make mistakes than to play it safe.
Mistakes are part of the dues one pays for a full life.

Mistakes is the most valuable thing you can make
... You can't learn anything from being Perfect.

Interesting facts about Sajdah -- Prostration

Your Body receives a huge amount of Electromagnetic waves daily!

You get these Electromagnetic waves through the Electrical Equipments that you use and the various equipments which you can not leave!

Also, through the electrical lights which can not be switched off in certain cases for even an hour!

You are a source which receives huge amounts of Electromagnetic waves! In other words, you are charged with electromagnetic waves without realizing it!

You have headache! You feel uncomfortable!

Laziness, in action and pain in different places!

Do not forget this when you feel some of these symptoms!

What is the solution from all this??!!

A non Muslim Scientist (From Europe) made a research from which he concluded that the best way for the body to remove the positive Electromagnetic charges which hurts the body is:

By putting your forehead on the ground more than once, so that the ground will discharge the positive harmful Electromagnetic charges!

This is similar to the grounding of the buildings where any positive electrical signals (Like thunders) would be discharged through the ground.

So, put your forehead on the ground to discharge the positive electrical signals!

What makes this research more amazing is that:

The best is to put your forehead on the sand

And it becomes more amazing that:

The best way is to put your forehead on the ground while you are positioned to the centre of the Earth! Since you will be able to discharge the Electromagnetic signals in a better and more efficient way!

And you will be amazed when you know that Mecca is scientifically proven to be the centre of the Earth!
And that Kaa’ba is the exact centre of the Earth!

So, “Prostration” (Sajdah) in your prayers is:

The best way to discharge the harmful electromagnetic signals from your body!

It is also the ideal way to be very close from the Almighty who created this universe in such a creative way!

Allah Almighty will always ask us to do things because they are helpful and useful for us!

There are cases when we won’t know the reason for a certain act, but sooner or later, you might be able to find the reason!

In any case, you should trust the Almighty Allah and know that whatever you do for Him, is the best for you!

We do not prostrate to discharge the electromagnetic waves, but to obey the Almighty Allah! We trust that in His commands, there is always a wisdom! Our trust is because He is the Creator, He knows everything!

However, since a scientific reason is available, it was essential to show it to the people so that they can see that whatever Muslims do, is good for them!

to go to Him, and a feeling of peace and contentment. In its place, our hearts are filled with something or someone else.

5. Our Bodies:

Wasted because we don't use them in ibadah (worship) and service of Allah.

6. Our Love:

Our emotional love is misdirected, not towards Allah, but towards something /someone else.

7. Our Time:

Wasted, not used properly, to compensate for that which has passed, by doing what is
righteous to make up for past deeds.

8. Our Intellect:

Wasted On things those are not beneficial, that are detrimental to society and the
individual, not in contemplation or reflection.

9. Our Service:

Wasting service of someone who will not bring us closer to Allah, or benefit in
dunyaa (this world).

10. Our Zikr (Remembrance of Allah):

Wasted, because it does not touch us or our hearts.

Think about that its very ture :(

Inspirational Words of Wisdom about Life

The Road to Success is not straight:
There is a curve called failure, a loop called confusion, speed bumps called friends, caution lights called family, and you will have flats called jobs.
But, if you have a spare called determination, an engine called perseverance, insurance called faith, and a driver called God, you will make it to a place called success!

Live for something:

Do good, and leave behind you a monument of virtue that the storms of time can never destroy.
Write your name in kindness, love, and mercy on the hearts of thousands you come in contact with year by year, and you will never be forgotten. Your name and your good deeds will shine as the stars of heaven.

Pearls of Wisdom:

* Don't love the Heart that hurts you and don't hurt the Heart that loves you.

* Don't cry over anyone who won't cry over you.

* Good friends are hard to find, harder to leave, and impossible to forget.

* Most people walk in and out of your life, but only friend's leave footprints in your heart.

* True friendship "never" ends. Friends are forever.

* People are lonely because they build walls instead of bridges.

* If we are incapable of finding peace in ourselves, it is pointless to search elsewhere.

* The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other's life. Rarely do members of one family grow up under the same roof.

* A change of heart changes everything.

* Our greatest glory is not in ever falling, but in rising every time we fall.

* You only live once - but if you work it right, once is enough.

* One generation plants trees, and the next enjoys the shade.

* It is difficult to live in the present, ridiculous to live in the future, and impossible to live in the past. Nothing is as far away as one minute ago.

You are what you think!

* Your inner thoughts can cause you to be rich or poor, loved or unloved, happy or unhappy, attractive or unattractive, powerful or weak.

* What you impress upon your mind, you'll inevitably become. It's a psychological law that whatever you desire to accomplish you must first impress upon your subconscious mind.

* Relentless, repetitive self talk will change your self image. You'll affect your subconscious mind with verbal repetition. Constant repetition carries conviction.

* When you change your values you'll change your behavior. Start thinking of yourself as becoming the person you want to be. Self suggestion will make you the master of yourself.

* If you believe you can, you can.

* You can become whatever you want to be.

Slow down:

* Life is not a race. It is a journey.

* Getting someplace first, before anyone else, has very little real and lasting meaning. Seek instead to encourage others to come along, and you'll find the journey much more fulfilling.

* When you hurry through each moment, you miss out on the richness that could be yours. Take the time to live, to experience where you are, rather than being so obsessed with getting to the next checkpoint.

* When you stop demanding to have it all now, you'll discover that you have plenty already. Learn to experience joy where you are, and you'll experience it in abundance.

* Yes, it can be wonderfully exhilarating when life is moving quickly. But do not move so quickly that speed becomes your only experience, for there is so much more to enjoy.

* The terrain of life is filled with wonderful and astounding detail. Slow down and take in its richness.

One step away:

* If you were just one step away from reaching your goal, would you take that step? How do you know, right now, that you're not?

* What a shame it would be to stop making the effort, when just a little bit more would make it all worthwhile. What a shame it would be to have taken all those steps, only to miss the very last one.

* The next step you take may very well be the one that makes all the others count. You owe it to yourself, and the efforts you've made, to keep going.

* No, the next step may not get you there. Yet what about the one after that? If you keep moving ahead, a little at a time, you will indeed arrive. When you take that final, triumphant step, you'll be so very thankful you persevered.

* At some point success is just one step away. Keep going and you'll be there.

Must do:

* In each task that must be done, there is opportunity. See the task not as a burden, but as an encouragement to be fully alive and effective.

* The real burden would be the inability to do anything. No task is a burden, but is instead the chance to express your own aliveness.

* Does the work seem dreary, unimaginative, tedious or boring? That's mainly because your attitude makes it so.

* See what happens when you start by being thankful for the opportunity to do it. Your genuine gratitude will help you to see the positive value.

* When the things you must do become things you want to do, it can transform your life. Each moment takes on more meaning; each effort brings greater and greater reward.

* Rather than fighting and forcing yourself to do what must be done, let go of your resistance and allow yourself to accomplish. Let what you must, become what you want, and watch yourself begin to soar.

We leave them alone…and come only when… We are in need or in trouble

We don’t have Time for our Parent…
No matter what, parent will always give everything….

To make us happy and solve our problems…
And in return what they want….
Just our company!

Please love to your parent…
Don’t forget them…
Give them Time…
Give them your company…
They will be happy by seeing you happy..…

Please Don’t leave your parent …
Gratitude them…
One can gets Child as many as he want, but parent he gets only once…

So Respect Your Parents.

Important info About Mobile -- Dangerous

This morning I heard a true and sad story from a colleague of mine. She told me one of her friends is always having abortions.

When the foetus gets to be 2-3 months old she loses it. This happened several times over. The couple went to check with many doctors and at last one of the doctors examined the dead baby and found that the baby's body cells kept dying as the baby was growing in the womb until he/she could not survive. This was because her uterus was affected by Handphone Radiation.

The doctor told her, she now has no chance to give birth to a healthy baby because the radiation has affected her uterus so that the major portion of the cells in her uterus have already died.

This happened because she has been keeping her hand phone in her working jacket so that the phone rested against just on the right spot of the uterus. She had been wearing it like this for a few years.

Please beware of this and take note if you don't want what has happened to this woman to happen to you.

Dearest friends & family members,

Please do not ignore hand phone radiation which will damage our health or body organs. Please put away your hand phone whenever you don't need it much.

Guys, Please do not keep your hand phone near to the kidney position and pants pocket .

The other doctor also advised another friend to keep her hand phone away from her new born baby to avoid radiation damage to the baby's brain cells.

Do not let the baby or toddler play with the hand phone. This is because the small young baby or toddler is still very fragile and growing, so he/she is much more vulnerable to radiation damage.

Please remember not to sleep together with your hand phone or put it next to your bed.

Keep any other electronic goods (such as tvs) which also give off radiation away from your bedroom to reduce risk as we have to sleep a few hours every day in our bedroom at night.

Further, do not imagine that if you switch off the TV there will be no radiation. Actually it is still around in your room.

It is not advisable to have even a small digital alarm clock close to your head while sleeping.

Take Care of yourself and your loved ones.

Egg Joke

There was once an Indian and a Pakistani who lived next door to each
other. The Pakistani owned a hen and each morning would look in his
garden and pick up one of his hen's eggs for breakfast.
One day he looked into his garden and saw that the hen had laid an egg
in the Indian's garden. He was about to go next door when he saw the
Indian pick up the egg. The Pakistani ran up to the Indian and told him
that the egg belonged to him because he owned the hen.
The Indian disagreed because the egg was laid on his property. They
argued for a while until finally the Pakistani said, "In my family we
normally solve disputes by the following actions: I kick you in the face
and time how long it takes you to get back up, then you kick me in the
face and time how long it takes for me to get up, whoever gets up
quicker wins the egg."
The Indian agreed to this and so the Pakistani found his heaviest pair
of boots and put them on, he took a few steps back, then ran toward the
Indian and kicked as hard as he could in the face.
The Indian fell to the floor clutching his jaw howling in agony for 30
minutes.
Eventually the Indian stood up and said, "Now it's my turn to kick you."
The Pakistani said, "Keep the damn egg!"

Why I shed bikini for Niqab

By Sara Bokker (a former actress/model/fitness instructor and activist)

I AM an American woman who was born in the midst of America's "Heartland." I grew up, just like any other girl, being fixated with the glamour of life in "the big city." Eventually, I moved to Florida and on to South Beach of Miami, a hotspot for those seeking the "glamorous life." Naturally, I did what most average Western girls do. I focused on my appearance and appeal, basing my self-worth on how much attention I got from others. I worked out religiously and became a personal trainer, acquired an upscale waterfront residence, became a regular "exhibiting" beach-goer and was able to attain a "living-in-style" kind of life.

Years went by, only to realize that my scale of self-fulfillment and happiness slid down the more I progressed in my "feminine appeal." I was a slave to fashion. I was a hostage to my looks.

As the gap continued to progressively widen between my self-fulfillment and lifestyle, I sought refuge in escapes from alcohol and parties to meditation, activism, and alternative religions, only to have the little gap widen to what seemed like a valley. I eventually realized it all was merely a pain killer rather than an effective remedy.

By now it was Sept. 11, 2001. As I witnessed the ensuing barrage on Islam, Islamic values and culture, and the infamous declaration of the "new crusade," I started to notice something called Islam. Up until that point, all I had associated with Islam was women covered in "tents," wife beaters, harems, and a world of terrorism. As a feminist libertarian, and an activist, I was pursuing a better world for all.

One day I came across a book that is negatively stereotyped in the West – The Noble Qur'an. I was first attracted by the style and approach of the Qur'an, and then intrigued by its outlook on existence, life, creation, and the relationship between Creator and creation. I found the Qur'an to be a very insightful address to heart and soul without the need for an interpreter or pastor.

Eventually I hit a moment of truth: my new-found self-fulfilling activism was nothing more than merely embracing a faith called Islam where I could live in peace as a "functional" Muslim.

I bought a beautiful long gown and head cover resembling the Muslim woman's dress code and I walked down the same streets and neighborhoods where only days earlier I had walked in my shorts, bikini, or "elegant" Western business attire.

Although the people, the faces, and the shops were all the same, one thing was remarkably distinct – I was not – nor was the peace at being a woman I experienced for the very first time. I felt as if the chains had been broken and I was finally free. I was delighted with the new looks of wonder on people's faces in place of the looks of a hunter watching his prey I had once sought. Suddenly a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Finally, I was free.

Of all places, I found my Islam at the heart of what some call "the most scandalous place on earth," which makes it all the more dear and special.

While content with Hijab I became curious about Niqab, seeing an increasing number of Muslim women in it. I asked my Muslim husband, whom I married after I reverted to Islam, whether I should wear Niqab or just settle for the Hijab I was already wearing. My husband simply advised me that he believes Hijab is mandatory in Islam while Niqab is not. At the time, my Hijab consisted of head scarf that covered all my hair except for my face, and a loose long black gown called "Abaya" that covered all my body from neck to toe.

A year-and-a-half passed, and I told my husband I wanted to wear Niqab. My reason, this time, was that I felt it would be more pleasing to Allah, the Creator, increasing my feeling of peace at being more modest.

He supported my decision and took me to buy an "Isdaal," a loose black gown that covers from head to toe, and Niqab, which covers all my head and face except for my eyes. Soon enough, news started breaking about politicians, Vatican clergymen, libertarians, and so-called human rights and freedom activists condemning Hijab at times, and Niqab at others as being oppressive to women, an obstacle to social integration, and more recently, as an Egyptian official called it – "a sign of backwardness."

I find it to be a blatant hypocrisy when Western governments and so-called human rights groups rush to defend woman's rights when some governments impose a certain dress code on women, yet such "freedom fighters" look the other way when women are being deprived of their rights, work, and education just because they choose to exercise their right to wear Niqab or Hijab.

Today I am still a feminist, but a Muslim feminist, who calls on Muslim women to assume their responsibilities in providing all the support they can for their husbands to be good Muslims. To raise their children as upright Muslims so they may be beacons of light for all humanity once again. To enjoin good – any good – and to forbid evil – any evil. To speak righteousness and to speak up against all ills. To fight for our right to wear Niqab or Hijab and to please our Creator whichever way we chose. But just as importantly to carry our experience with Niqab or Hijab to fellow women who may never have had such a chance.

Most of the women I know wearing Niqab are Western reverts, some of whom are not even married. Others wear Niqab without full support of either family or surroundings. What we all have in common is that it is the personal choice of each and every one of us, which none of us is willing to surrender.

Willingly or unwillingly, women are bombarded with styles of "dressing-in-little-to-nothing" virtually in every means of communication everywhere in the world.

As an ex non-Muslim, I insist on women's right to equally know about Hijab, its virtues, and the peace and happiness it brings to a woman's life as it did to mine. Yesterday, the bikini was the symbol of my liberty, when in actuality it only liberated me from my spirituality and true value as a respectable human being.

Today, Niqab is the new symbol of woman's liberation.

To women who surrender to the ugly stereotype against the Islamic modesty of Hijab, I say: You don't know what you are missing.

A plane is about to crash. There are five passengers on board, but there are only 4 parachutes.

The first passenger says:

"I am Ronaldo, the bext football player in the world. The football world needs me and i can't die on my fans"
He grabs the first parachute and jumps out of the plane.

The second Passenger, Hillary Clinton says:

"I am the wife of former president of the United States; I am the senator of New York, and I have a good chance of being president of teh United States in future"
She grabs the parachute and jumps off the plane.

The third Passenger George W. Bush, says:
"I am the President of United States of America. I have huge responsibilities in the world. Besides, I am the smartest President in the history of my country and can't shun the responsibility to my people by dying."
He grabs a pack and jums off the plane.

The fourth Passenger, the Pope says, to the fifth passenger, a young school boy:
"I am old. I ahve lived my life as a goog person as a priest should and so I shall leave the last parachute to you; You have the rest of your life ahead of you.

To this the little boy says:

"Don't fret old man.....

There is a parachute for each of us!

The smartest President of America took my school bag......"

Nail Polish

Ladies use nail polish so that they may look beautiful. But in fact, all types of nail polish destroy the natural beauty of the nails. Allah (SWT) has spread a net of small arteries under the nails. Blood circulates constantly in these arteries, giving the nails a red tint. But when the nail polish is coated on the nails for a long time, they become ugly, colorless and rough. Women are also very fond of growing their nails like the beasts. For this purpose, they seem ready to face every type of difficulty. Seeing their absurd eagerness, different companies are earning a lot. They are producing artificial nails of different colors, which are fixed on real nails. This practice does not befit a Muslim lady because the Holy Prophet(SAW) ordered us to remove the nails and said that cutting nails is one of ten natural things. To grow nails is not an Islamic practice; it has NOTHING to do with Islamic culture and civilization. A Physician of Medical Center New York University said, 'The use of nail polish makes nails hard, and the remover makes them harder, and ultimately they become brittle.' If blood circulation decreases, the nails become thin, ugly and yellow. The Holy Prophet (SAW) had counted the practice of cutting nails among the ten natural things. A Muslim MUST believe that blessing lies within the limits described by the Prophet (SAW) and no doubt blessing is there. Doctor Saeed Rana observes that germs seek a shelter in long nails and they get themselves mixed in water and other eatables. The nail polish remover destroys the surface of the nails as it removes thin shells from the nails. The shine or luster of the nails also goes and nails become colorless and rough.

For How Long Have You Been Using Nail Polish?

Many ladies suffer from different diseases simply because of using nail polish but they don't know the real cause of their disease and are moving from doctor to doctor in search of treatment. I would like to quote just one example which a physician, Tariq Mahmood Chughtai, narrated. The physician write, 'Nails are also something living like a human body. They need fresh air, oxygen and water. If they experience pain, they whole body will show the signs and effects of this pain. A woman had boils on her hands. She was also experiencing horrible itch. She visited many doctors but the efforts of the doctors remained fruitless. At last she visited a skin specialist. After examining the patient, the doctor asked her for how long she was using nail polish on her nails. She replied that she was doing so for the last 5 years. She told the doctor that she was suffering from the disease for the last 5 years as well. The doctor advised her to stop using nail polish. He prescribed her some medicine and she was OK just within three weeks. Different colors have their own effects on human health. Nail polish plugs the pores of the nails and the chemicals it contains cause different diseases.
